  1. Hi Jammie,
I have really enjoyed all your videos. We had a large garden last year and lost everything due to a 4 month drought. I live in middle Ga. We didn’t plant a garden this year. My husband and I are in our early to late sixties and the energy just isn’t there. However, I love to can, so we have a church friend that gardens and sells and we buy from him. This works out for both of us. My grandparents had a 95% self-reliant farm and so did my parents. I wouldn’t live any other way. God bless you and may you always have success. Daisy

I would have loved to have known your grandparents! I love canning also. A couple things for you to check out are Hollis and Nancy’s Homestead on YouTube. They do a lot of container gardening that is simple. Also Ruth Stout’s No Work Garden book. These may be options for you to try if you are looking for your own produce that is a lot simpler. I am going to try Hollis’s potato buckets soon :0)

  2. I thnk the changes sound great. I’m all for shorter, more concise videos. Good luck and I’ll be watching no matter what.

Wow, I think I’m flabbergasted (whatever that means). I am going to love this but my true first and immediate thought was, I hope they haven’t over extended themselves. That is a lot but if any one could do it and do it well it would be your family. I am thrilled but I will be extremely understanding if on some days you are just too busy with the farm. I love you guys and don’t want to see you over extended. But I am always happy with what ever videos you are able to put out there. so here is my BIG SMILE. :-). Thank you for caring so much about helping people.
