This is an easy no recipe granola that you can make for less than 1/3 the price of prepackaged ones at the grocery store – and you know exactly what is in it! Make it your own by adding your own flavor combinations such as vanilla almond granola, maple pecan granola, peanut butter chocolate granola, or vanilla blueberry granola.
Easy Healthy Granola Recipe:
4 cups of regular oats (can be gluten free)
1 tsp salt
1/2 cup honey (or maple syrup)
1/2 cup coconut oil
1-2 whipped egg whites (optional for protein and granola clusters)
Mix all of the above in a bowl. Add any spices, extracts. and/or nuts and seeds at this time. Spread on baking sheet and bake at 300 degrees for 40-45 minutes, or until brown; turning halfway through. Allow to cool and harden, then add any dried fruits or chocolate.
